II City Plaza Baton Rouge, Louisiana
When constructed, II City Plaza was the first new Class A Office Space construction in downtown Baton Rouge in a quarter century. Located on the corner of Convention and Fourth Street, II City Plaza contains 260,000 Square Feet of Class A office space on twelve floors.
The easily identifiable downtown landmark is comprised of granite, glass, and stone. The ground level of the building boasts high end retail space, while a floor motor court provides garden views and a metal canopy links the 2 story colonnades of City Plaza I and II. A two-story granite base supports the structures upper floors, where the façade shifts from the granite and glass colonnades to faceted windows that extend from the structure. The glass façade provides striking views of Capitol Park. Each upper floor contains approximately 21,500 square feet of rentable office.
An adjacent 650-car parking garage is designed to screen views of the two distinct drive through banking facilities.
