The Lemoine Company celebrated Topping Out festivities for the Crescent City Surgical Centre project in Metairie, Louisiana. The lunchtime ceremony took place in the building’s first floor parking garage. Superintendent, Ronnie Patton, played Emcee and recognized the craft workforce for their hard work thus far. “219 days—that’s 142,350 man hours—without a lost time accident”, applauded Ronnie. Truly an accomplishment they can be proud of. CCSC CEO, Kirk Long, echoed Ronnie’s sentiments by complementing the team on their efforts to keep the project safe while still delivering a quality product—ahead of schedule. Bar-b-que brisket and numerous door prizes drew a crowd of over 100. Souvenir T-Shirts in “safety orange” commemorating the milestone were given in thanks to all attendees. The $17.3 million project is a five-story cast-in-place concrete structure with a parking garage on the first three floors and specialty surgical hospital on floors four and five. Lemoine is proud to partner with WHLC Architecture, LLC and is appreciative of the support from the doctors and staff as they anxiously await their new facility scheduled to complete at the end of 2010. |
